The young lady running the business and I believe she is the owners daughter. What a hard working nice, polite young lady. Not to mention that she recommended great choices on the menu and she was patient and polite. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. And by the way, the food is excellent! Thank you for a great experience. My hat is off to you young lady!

My husband has been going on and on about a location called Baradas and how much he missed it. Today he found Damascene and learned it was formally Baradas and brought me home dinner. I can without a doubt say the meal was worth the hype and exceeded my expectations. The garlic sauce was fantastic especially paired with the picnic chicken!

We always enjoy our visits here. The food is amazing, very delicious. Staff is friendly and attentive. Didn't think to take photo until halfway through Barada's Favorite.

First time there, we had great service and the food was delicious. I was with a former coworker and we were catching up and they had closed at 8 and we were still talking at 830 and no one had come to ask us to leave. It was only when we saw people trying to get in that couldn't that we realized it was past closing. That was very kind of them as I'm sure they wanted to clean up and get out of there.

Great food and good environment around friends and family! Had a hard time figuring out which plate to order. There are so many interesting options. Appetizers are excellent! They are short staffed, but it was worth it. You have to reserve in advance, so call ahead at least a day before to get a table.

Absolutely the best place in town for chicken kabobs and the Damascene dip and Barada are wonderful! A quiet place for a fantastic meal. Very friendly family run business. My favorite restaurant!

The best in Toledo. Grew up eating middle eastern food. Tiger bakery, Beirut, byblos, sidon, souk, etc... ALL pale in comparison to damascene grill, formerly Barada. Was told for years that this place beats Beirut, was a non believer. Early 2006, I gave Barada, (now damascene grill) a try. Have been a believer since. Best middle eastern food in Toledo.
